Oklahoma Methodist Manor New Memory Care Facility to Reinforce Powerful Message

Oklahoma Methodist Manor New Memory Care Facility

You can’t build a great building on a weak foundation.

Philippians 1:3 shares a beautiful message of thanks and gratitude: “Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.”

This is the simple, yet powerful message written into the foundation of the new Memory Care for Oklahoma Methodist Manor by its CEO Steve Dickie.

Construction is underway at the OMM Campus for their new Memory Care facility. The new structure is made of two different one story “households” featuring a total of (24) private rooms.

This facility will provide quality care for the growing number of people living with dementia, as well as serving their families. The middle area of the building will be common spaces that both households and their visitors will utilize.

The households will be called The Marshall-Gaddy House and The Barnes House, named after two of their donors – Paula Marshall and Mary & Jim Barnes.

This facility, as well as the forthcoming Community Life Center, was made possible by the recent “Generation to Generation Campaign” which raised $13.4 million to enable these improvements to OMM’s 40-acre midtown campus.

Stava Building is serving as the construction manager, along with Eppstein Uhen Architects, a Wisconsin-based firm specializing in senior living developments.
